Welcome to Chaveiros—the ULTIMATE camp experience for you and your daughter!

Communication:
Communication is the number one key to a most productive summer. We  communicate via phone, text & email. During camp, weekly newsletters will be distributed  every Friday. Check it out for all upcoming events in Camp CC!

Breakfast & Lunch:
Camp Chaveiros will provide Breakfast & Lunch daily including Friday. When sending snacks with your child, please keep in mind CHAVEIROS IS A NUT FREE CAMP.

Tznius Dress Code (Grades entering 1-7)

• Elbows & knees must be properly covered at all times. (Please take extra care when  buying ¾ sleeves). 
• No ankle socks are allowed. Only knee socks or tights may be worn to camp.
• Please make sure that all clothing adheres to both Halacha & Ruach Hatznius  (Example: tight fitting, large or bold lettering should be avoided).
• No two piece bathing  suits.

Freebees!
A free camp shirt & camp bag will be given out to all divisions!

Lost and Found:

• Label everything you want to bring home.

• Help CC reach its goal of NO lost and found!!
• All unlabeled items will become hefker every 2 weeks.

Swimming
Camp CC will be going swimming in a gorgeous underground pool!! It is mandatory for all campers to dress properly to and from the pool area. We highly recommend a swim dress.

Lice Check:
We are very proud that Camp Chaveiros is a LICE FREE CAMP! We have FREE in camp (during camp hours) mandatory lice check! Lice check will take place within the first 2 days of each half. Any camper that misses the free in-camp lice check will need to be checked privately before coming to camp. Any camper found with lice will need to go home and will not be allowed back into camp without a note from Mrs. Schuster (732-363-0938). Any camper that leaves on vacation for more than 2 days must be rechecked before returning to
camp.

Admission Card/ Payment Arrangements:
Admission cards will be mailed out 1 week before each half. ATTACH THIS CARD AS A NAME TAG TO YOUR CHILD ON THE FIRST DAY OF EACH HALF TO ENSURE PROPER ADMISSION, BUNK PLACEMENT, & SAFETY. Call Camp Chaveiros business line # to obtain your admission card and avoid any uncomfortable situations.

Bring to Camp Daily!

• SWIM GEAR (primary – 7th): bathing suit, swim dress –appropriate full
  cover up, swim shoes, towel, bathing cap, siddur to be left in camp.
• TOTS DIVISION: appropriate swim gear, a change of clothing & sun block
  to remain in camp
• 3 YEAR OLD: (youngest campers) blanket for rest time to remain in camp
